But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV
I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15:4-6 NKJV
Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Hebrews 12:10 NKJV
**Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out Day 2 of my Five for Five Black and White Photo Challenge. If you would like to participate you can find all of the details here.
Well done! Where is your photo on this page? It only shows when you look at all the post on the home page. Just curious.

Hi Lee,
Thanks for letting me know. That is the one “flaw” about this theme. The photos don’t carry over from the homepage. I did add the photos into the text so they can be viewed from either. Thanks again!

Beautiful post. I love the face that your Scriptures pointed to fruit coming from abiding. And love the pics too!

Our world today needs this fruit from the Bible, yet many people don’t want it and don’t want to hear it. Thank you for getting it out on the Internet so that others might read and want to understand. God bless you.

Your words are all too true. I write as God leads me and pray that is is of benefit to someone besides myself. Always preaching to myself! 🙂

Hi Lilka, lovely message, but I can’t see your photo, for today or yesterday. Is there a link I’m supposed to click on?

Hi Sherri,
I’ve resolved that issue. Lee pointed it out to me as well. I have placed the photos in the text so they can be seen from the homepage and within the post. Hopefully that is much better! 🙂

Always I have seen just the fruit in colour. Today they merge into the background – and today I see the leaves! Powerful leaves. Without them no fruit. And then the stems almost hidden – hard to spot. No stems, no leaves, no fruit. So much more than just “fruit”! WOW!!
Thank you Lilka!! Black and White is the new black!! 🙂

Glad you could see that Paul 🙂 Just a shift in viewpoint is sometimes all it takes…

There is nothing quite as wonderful as fresh fruit, especially during a long, cold winter. I love how the Bible uses the analogy of fruit, when it talks of the “fruit of the spirit”. So appealing, and so desirable! 🙂

Yes! I can so relate to God’s analogies about seed and harvest. They are simple, and to the point but packed with so much for us 🙂
