Put On Your Armor!

And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.
Romans 13:11-12 NKJV

The armour of God devotional 2 10-2015  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Ephesians 6:10-13 NKJV

  1. Hi Lilka! Just thought I’d pop in here to say “hi” and see how you are doing. I was looking over my roses the other day and wondered about how your garden is growing…Lol! I know you’re busy, but let me know how things are going when you get 30 seconds.

    1. Hi Steve, just finished a 12 hour shift and off for the weekend. My roses are hanging in and should be okay until the first frost. My garden is really in a state of decay. I’ve got summer pots that need to come down but our incessant rain hasn’t allowed me time to plant more pansies.

      1. I know what you mean. Out here, the weather has been such a mix of rain, sun, and in-between that I have winter blooms coming in while summer roses are trying to pop out!
        It’s a downright confused garden right now…

      2. Yes it is. Now today, we had the sun in the morning and threating some sprinkles this afternoon. If this keeps up, next we’ll have sunrise at 4AM!

  2. Your posts are always inspirational and right on time even though it takes me days to catch up with my emails! LOL!! This is another one of my favorite scripture verses. You always seem to find the appropriate Bible verse that fits my situation. Thank you and God Bless. I’m in the process of seeking a Guardianship Lawyer to apply for legal guardianship of my brother Stephen. Once I become his legal guardian my workplace then must give me FMLA (Family Leave). Working hard on Stephen’s behalf.
